Record a baseline before changing content
Choose questions a real customer might ask about your category, service area and buying decision. Record the tool, date, prompt and observed sources or mentions. Answers can vary by session, model and location, so one result is not a stable ranking. Keep the prompt set consistent enough to compare observations and avoid selecting only the questions that already mention your brand.
Make your business facts easy to understand
Your service pages should clearly state what you provide, who it suits and where you work. Keep the business name and contact details consistent. Structured data must describe visible, accurate content; invented ratings or locations undermine trust. Explain important limitations and approvals rather than presenting every offer as universal. Clear facts help both customers and systems interpret the business.
Publish useful answers with evidence
Develop service explanations, comparisons and FAQs from actual customer questions and approved expertise. Separate factual statements from opinions and cite appropriate primary sources for claims that need them. Use relevant internal links so readers can move from an answer to the service detail. Do not create fake third party endorsements or testimonials in an attempt to influence AI recommendations.
Review accessibility and measure honestly
Check indexing access, canonical URLs, sitemap entries and whether important content can be read without a login. An llms.txt file can offer a concise map but does not guarantee inclusion. Repeat the agreed observations after changes and track identifiable referral enquiries where possible. AI tools do not expose every source or visit, so reporting must acknowledge incomplete attribution and avoid promising placement.
